World champions Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei have claimed the Australian Open 2025 mixed doubles title after defeating Indonesia’s Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu in straight sets.
The Malaysian pair dominated throughout the tournament and maintained their perfect record against the Indonesian duo — now 5-0. After winning the first set 21-16, Tang Jie and Ee Wei shifted into a higher gear, sealing the match convincingly 21-11.
With the victory, the world No.4 pair take home USD $37,525 (RM156,000) and become only the second Malaysian mixed doubles pair to win the title in Australia.
