Lando Norris sent a clear warning to his F1 rivals after beating championship leader Kimi Antonelli in a thrilling Dutch Grand Prix.
Starting from pole, Norris was overtaken by Antonelli after a restart but fought back to make a bold outside pass at Turn 1 on lap 54. He then passed Lewis Hamilton to reclaim the lead and held on to win on worn tyres.
It was Norris’ second straight victory, cutting Antonelli’s championship advantage to 83 points.
“This fight is still on,” Norris told his McLaren team over the radio, urging them to keep bringing upgrades as he continues his title defence.
Antonelli finished second, while George Russell was ordered to give way to his Mercedes teammate after a failed tyre strategy. Russell eventually finished third, ahead of Hamilton.
The result also created tension inside Mercedes, with both drivers questioning the team’s decisions over the radio. Team boss Toto Wolff, however, defended the use of team orders.
For Norris, the message is simple: with the championship still within reach, don’t write him off just yet.
