Anthony Edwards Goes Wild as Jonathan Kuminga Arrives at Timberwolves Facility

Anthony Edwards and Jonathan Kuminga already appear to be building strong chemistry after an entertaining first meeting at the Minnesota Timberwolves’ practice facility.

Kuminga arrived in Minneapolis on Monday to officially begin his new chapter with the Timberwolves, expressing his excitement to get to work and meet his new teammates.

That excitement was matched by Edwards the following day.

When the 23-year-old forward walked into the team facility, Edwards immediately erupted with an enthusiastic — and explicit — reaction.

“Y’all see what’s going on. This s*** is over, man. Wrap this s*** up. This s*** is over this year, man,” the four-time All-Star said.

The 25-year-old Edwards played a key role in recruiting Kuminga to Minnesota, believing the athletic forward can provide a major two-way boost to the team.

Kuminga’s arrival has generated plenty of excitement among Timberwolves fans, who were quick to praise Edwards for the warm welcome.

The reunion also gives Kuminga another familiar face in Donte DiVincenzo, his former Golden State Warriors teammate.

Kuminga is expected to begin the season as Minnesota’s sixth man, giving the Timberwolves an explosive scoring option off the bench while also adding defensive versatility.

With Edwards embracing his new teammate from day one, expectations are already building around what the Timberwolves could accomplish with their revamped roster.
