Victor Oladipo could be on the verge of an NBA comeback, with the Sacramento Kings reportedly considering the former Miami Heat guard for a veteran leadership role.
The 34-year-old has been out of the league since the 2022-23 season, when he last played for the Heat, but his recent workout during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas has reignited interest from several teams.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Sacramento is searching for an experienced point guard to mentor highly regarded rookie Darius Acuff Jr., with Oladipo emerging as one of the leading candidates.
The Kings are also reportedly weighing a reunion with Russell Westbrook, who spent the 2025-26 season in Sacramento.
Having played in the NBA from 2013 to 2023, Oladipo brings a wealth of experience that could prove valuable for the Kings’ young roster as they look to strengthen their backcourt both on and off the court.
