Tigres Femenil lifted yet another Liga MX Femenil trophy after defeating Club América in the Apertura 2025 final — and among those celebrating her first championship was 20-year-old forward Tatiana Flores.
Flores shared her excitement on social media, calling the night “historic” and posting photos with the trophy and her winner’s medal. She wrote:
“Sometimes being a champion is not just one day, it’s the work you put in every day. Good night to the biggest club in Mexico. Let’s go champions.”
However, her celebration drew backlash from some fans. Many criticised her limited involvement during the tournament, where she registered 115 minutes across six matches — with only one start and no goals. Comments ranged from playful jabs to harsh criticism, with some suggesting she shouldn’t celebrate as prominently.
Despite the reactions, Tigres’ coaching staff still view Flores as a long-term project, believing her development will benefit from being part of a highly competitive squad.
