Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo has agreed to join Manchester City, turning down a potential £85 million move to Tottenham. Reports say Gakpo has made it clear that City is his preferred destination, with negotiations now underway between the clubs.
The 27-year-old’s decision comes after Liverpool agreed a deal worth up to £123m for Bradley Barcola, potentially pushing Gakpo further down the pecking order at Anfield.
