Paris Saint-Germain produced a thrilling performance to defeat Barcelona 4-2 at the Parc des Princes, ending the Catalans’ 11-match unbeaten start to the season.

Desire Doue opened the scoring in the 38th minute after PSG’s high press forced Barcelona into another costly mistake. However, teenage full-back Xavi Espart levelled early in the second half with a powerful near-post finish.
PSG defender Lucas Hernandez restored the hosts’ advantage with a towering header, but Lamine Yamal responded with a moment of individual brilliance, beating Warren Zaire-Emery before squeezing the ball past Matvey Safonov to make it 2-2.
The excitement did not last long for Barcelona. Less than two minutes later, Vitinha controlled a clearance with his chest and unleashed a stunning volley into the bottom corner. Fabian Ruiz then sealed the victory by finishing Achraf Hakimi’s low cross at the back post.
Both sides created plenty of chances in an entertaining encounter, but PSG’s intensity and clinical finishing ultimately proved decisive. The European champions once again showed why they remain a formidable force on the continental stage.
