Abdul-Malik Embracing the Moment Ahead of Third UFC Bout

Mansur Abdul-Malik is enjoying the journey as he continues his rise in the UFC middleweight division. Undefeated at 8-0, with all wins coming by stoppage, Abdul-Malik enters his third UFC fight looking to build on two impressive finishes.

The 185-pound prospect recently shared a memorable moment with former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman during fight week in Atlanta. Reflecting on the experience, Abdul-Malik said it felt surreal to be chatting with someone he used to watch while dreaming of making it to the UFC.

Despite back-to-back stoppage wins, including a second-round TKO over Nick Klein in February, Abdul-Malik believes there’s still room for improvement. He said he’s grateful for how his career has unfolded and feels fully prepared for the UFC stage.

“Things have gone beautifully,” he said. “It could have gone better, 100 percent, but I’m happy, and there’s more good to come.”
