Cris Cyborg remains undecided about whether she will continue fighting after successfully defending her PFL women’s featherweight title against Ketlen Vieira.
The bout was initially expected to be Cyborg’s retirement fight, but the 41-year-old Brazilian chose not to make a definitive decision after securing a unanimous decision victory at PFL Tampa.
Cyborg said she plans to take some time away from competition before deciding her next move, reflecting on more than two decades at the top of the sport.
Despite completing her PFL contract, Cyborg has not ruled out further opportunities. Potential matchups in boxing against Claressa Shields or MMA bouts with Amanda Nunes and Kayla Harrison remain possible, although none appear close to being confirmed.
Cyborg has won championships in the UFC, PFL, Bellator, Invicta FC and Strikeforce, and improved her professional record to 30-2 with Saturday’s victory.
At 41, she said she is proud to have reached 30 career wins and become the first woman to achieve the milestone, leaving the door open for another chapter in her remarkable career.
