Michael “Venom” Page is officially a free agent after Dana White confirmed the UFC will not re-sign the British veteran.
Page faced Nursulton Ruziboev in the featured bout at UFC Paris on Saturday, earning a unanimous decision victory in a largely uneventful contest. The fight was the final bout on his UFC contract, and it now appears to have marked the end of his time with the promotion.
Page was removed from the UFC media rankings shortly after his victory, and White confirmed on Tuesday that the promotion has no plans to offer him a new deal.
“That was his last fight on his contract,” White said. “I don’t think we’re signing him, no.”
White also dismissed any confusion over Page’s status, saying it had been clear that the 39-year-old would not be re-signed and would subsequently be removed from the rankings.
A former Bellator interim title challenger, Page joined the UFC in 2024 and went 5-1 during his run with the promotion. However, he struggled to establish consistent momentum, moving between weight classes and producing several underwhelming performances.
Ahead of UFC Paris, Page said he wanted to remind the UFC why it signed him in the first place. Instead, his victory over Ruziboev produced another cautious performance — one Page himself admitted was below his capabilities.
Despite his UFC departure, Page leaves the promotion on a four-fight winning streak.
The British fighter now enters free agency with a 26-3 professional MMA record and could attract plenty of interest from rival promotions.
