McLaren’s Lando Norris stormed to a commanding victory at the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix, finishing over 30 seconds clear of Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

The Briton’s sixth win of the season, combined with teammate Oscar Piastri’s fifth-place finish, moves Norris one point ahead of Piastri in the Drivers’ Championship.
The race featured early chaos as Norris, Leclerc, Hamilton and Verstappen went four-wide into Turn 1, triggering a series of clashes that saw Hamilton penalised. Norris quickly regained control and never looked back, building an unassailable lead.
Verstappen mounted a late charge on Leclerc but was denied by a Virtual Safety Car, allowing the Ferrari driver to cling to second place. Haas rookie Ollie Bearman impressed with a career-best fourth, while Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli and George Russell rounded out the top seven.
