Leani Ratri Oktila continued her dominance on the Para badminton circuit by claiming three titles at the China Para Badminton International 2026 in Beijing on Sunday.
Oktila was joined in completing a triple crown by China’s Liu Yu Tong and Qu Zi Mo, with the trio once again proving their class across their respective categories.
Oktila, who also secured three titles at the British & Irish Para Badminton International in June, enjoyed comfortable victories in the SL3-SU5 mixed doubles and women’s doubles. However, she was pushed all the way by Cheng He Fang in the SL3 women’s singles final.
Partnering Hikmat Ramdani, Oktila defeated the Indian-French pairing of Kumar Nitesh and Maud LeFort 21-17, 21-14 in the mixed doubles final.
She then battled Cheng in a thrilling singles decider. After splitting the first two games, Oktila found herself trailing 18-19 in the third before producing a late surge to seal a 15-21, 21-12, 21-19 victory.
Her third gold came alongside fellow Indonesian Khalimatus Sadiyah, as the pair defeated China’s Gu Feifei and Moshiniu Qiesha 21-13, 21-16 in the women’s doubles final.
Liu and Qu were equally impressive in the wheelchair events, sweeping their respective finals with little difficulty. After winning the WH1-WH2 doubles alongside Yin Meng Lu and Mai Jian Peng respectively, both players claimed their singles titles in straight games.
They then faced each other in the mixed doubles final, teaming up against their regular doubles partners. Liu and Qu needed just 22 minutes to beat Mai Jian Peng and Yin Meng Lu 21-7, 21-6 and complete their triple crowns.
Other Highlights
Li Fengmei and Lin Naili in SH6, Yin Meng Lu in WH1 and Hikmat Ramdani in SL4 each collected two titles.
Brazil’s Vitor Tavares claimed the men’s singles SH6 crown after overcoming Lin Naili 19-21, 21-18, 21-16.
India also enjoyed a strong showing, with Kumar Nitesh winning the men’s singles SL3 title, Naveen Sivakumar taking the SL4 crown, and Chirag Baretha and Hardik Makkar triumphing in the SU5 men’s doubles.
Hosts China topped the overall title tally with 13 gold medals, while Indonesia and India finished with three titles each.
