The NBA-leading Oklahoma City Thunder were brought back down to earth after suffering a stunning 124-97 home defeat to the struggling Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.

Brandon Miller led the upset with an impressive 28-point performance, while Kon Knueppel added 23 points for the Hornets, who had dropped three of their previous four games before delivering Oklahoma City its heaviest loss of the season.
The Thunder endured a rare off night offensively, recording their lowest point total of the campaign and failing to reach the 100-point mark for the first time this season.
