Malaysia’s Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah saw their bid for a third straight World Tour final come to an end after a 21-14, 21-17 semi-final defeat to China’s Jia Yi Fan and Zhang Shu Xian at the China Open in Changzhou today.
The world No. 3 pair couldn’t replicate the form that took them to the final in Japan last week, as the Chinese world No. 7 duo extended their head-to-head lead over Pearly-Thinaah to 4-1.
