Real Madrid pulled off a remarkable comeback against Roma, scoring three goals in the final seven minutes to secure a dramatic 4-3 victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma took the lead through Marten de Roon in the 20th minute, but Kylian Mbappe equalised five minutes later on his 100th Champions League appearance. The French forward’s goal was his 72nd in the competition, moving him into the tournament’s all-time top five.
Donyell Malen then took centre stage after the break, scoring twice in six minutes to put Roma 3-1 ahead and leave Madrid facing a major uphill battle. However, the Spanish giants refused to give up. Carlos Espi pulled one back before Endrick headed home from a corner to level the score, setting up a grandstand finish.
Antonio Rudiger completed the turnaround in the 90th minute, turning another set-piece into the decisive goal. The victory gives Madrid six points from their opening two Champions League matches and eases the pressure on Jose Mourinho, who returned to face his former club.
