Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG) has etched its name into the history books by becoming the first team to win three consecutive MPL Malaysia titles, after a commanding 4-0 victory over Homebois in the MPL Malaysia Season 15 Grand Final.

With this dominant win, the Malaysian Mobile Legends: Bang Bang team—supported by European esports organisation OG Esports—adds Season 15 to its trophy cabinet, having also secured titles in Seasons 13 and 14.
As champions, SRG will now represent Malaysia at the Mid-Season Cup (MSC), part of the Esports World Cup set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Runners-up Homebois will also join the tournament. The MSC is the largest MLBB tournament of the year, featuring 23 global teams competing for a share of a $3 million prize pool.
Simon Lim, Chairman of Selangor Red Giants Esports, credited the players’ dedication:
“Whenever the players are not happy with their scrims on certain days, they request to scrim extra. They are willing to work overtime, they are willing to put extra effort. This is the prize they get, a three-peat. I’m very happy with the journey, but our journey has not ended yet.”
The team will now take a brief break before returning to prepare for the MSC, where they hope to defend their international title.
In the wake of SRG’s triumph, MPL Malaysia announced two new partnerships. CelcomDigi has joined as the Official League Presenter for Seasons 16 through 18—marking the telecom giant’s first move into esports. Additionally, Yamaha has signed on as the Official Motorcycle Partner for Seasons 16 and 17. This is the Japanese manufacturer’s debut esports collaboration and will begin at the Esports World Cup, covering both the Mid-Season Cup and Women’s Invitational.
