Spain Make History With 40-Game Unbeaten Run

Spain have made international football history, extending their unbeaten run to 40 matches after a 4-1 victory over Croatia in the Nations League. It is now the longest unbeaten streak ever recorded by a men’s national team.

Lamine Yamal was the star of the night, scoring twice and assisting Marc Pubill as Spain maintained their perfect start to the Nations League. Nico Williams added a late fourth after Croatia briefly levelled through Dion Beljo.

The run began in March 2024 and has now produced 30 wins and 10 draws inside 90 minutes. Spain have also won Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup during this incredible stretch.

Spain are already world champions. Now they own the longest unbeaten run in international football history.
