Trump Receives Signed Ronaldo Jersey with Message of Peace at G7 Summit

During the G7 Leaders’ Summit in Kananaskis, Alberta, President Donald Trump was presented with a signed Cristiano Ronaldo jersey by European Council President António Costa. The jersey featured a personalized message from the Portuguese football star: “To President Donald J. Trump – Playing for Peace.”

A video shared by Trump’s communications advisor, Margo Martin, captured the moment. After Costa pointed out the message, Trump responded, “Oh, I like that. Playing for peace,” and held up the jersey, saying, “That’s great.”

Trump arrived in Calgary on June 15, the day after celebrating his 79th birthday in Washington, D.C., where he and First Lady Melania Trump attended a military parade marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.
