Liam Rosenior launched a furious attack on his players after Chelsea slumped to a humiliating defeat that saw the club hit a 114-year low.

Chelsea were thrashed 3-0 by Brighton, extending their miserable run to five consecutive Premier League defeats without scoring — a streak not seen since 1912.
A visibly angry Rosenior did not hold back, calling the performance “unacceptable” and questioning his players’ attitude, effort, and basic execution on the pitch.
“I think the players need to have a look in the mirror,” he said, stressing that fundamentals such as winning duels, headers, and tackles were missing.
The Chelsea boss highlighted that tactics were not the main issue, pointing instead to a lack of courage, intensity, and professionalism among his squad.
The defeat leaves Chelsea’s season in serious danger, with their hopes of qualifying for European competition hanging by a thread.
Rosenior described the result as one of the toughest moments of his managerial career, admitting he felt “angry” and “numb” after watching his side fail to compete.
With pressure mounting from fans and growing scrutiny over his position, the Chelsea boss has hinted that major changes may be needed to turn things around.
