Manchester United are close to reaching a full agreement with Brighton for Carlos Baleba, with the deal expected to exceed £60 million.

The 22-year-old Cameroon midfielder is preparing to travel to Manchester for a medical, while United already have a five-year contract ready.
Baleba has been one of United’s top targets since last year and would become their third midfield signing this summer after Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos.
The midfielder is currently recovering from an ankle ligament injury, but it is not expected to keep him out for long.
After a dip in form last season, Baleba remains a gamble — but his strength, aggression, ball-winning ability and athleticism could provide the midfield power United have been missing.
