Liverpool Agree £120m Deal for Barcola

Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola in a deal worth around £120 million.

The Reds are expected to pay more than £100m upfront, with performance-related add-ons taking the total package to £120m. The deal would make Barcola Liverpool’s second-most expensive signing, behind Alexander Isak.

The 23-year-old France international has been keen on the move after his playing time at PSG became more limited, particularly following the emergence of Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Barcola’s arrival would give Liverpool another explosive option on the left, although it could also raise questions over Cody Gakpo’s future, with Tottenham and Manchester City both interested in the Dutchman.

Liverpool are still looking for another winger to strengthen their attack, meaning Barcola may not be their final major move of the window.
