The Madrid derby is still not over.
After Atletico Madrid beat Real Madrid 2-1, Jose Mourinho arrived at his press conference with printed images of two challenges he believed should have resulted in red cards for Cristian Romero and Lee Kang-in.
Mourinho accused the officials of failing to control the game, while Atletico have now hit back, calling for an end to what they described as “referee harassment” and warning that there are “red lines that cannot be crossed”.
The derby has now moved from the pitch to a war of words between the two Madrid giants.
