George Jarvis Ready for Destiny-Defining Title Shot Against Regian Eersel

George Jarvis believes the timing couldn’t be better as he prepares to face reigning two-sport champion Regian Eersel for the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title on August 2 at ONE Fight Night 34 in Bangkok.

The 24-year-old Briton, who turned heads with a third-round KO win over Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong last November, sees this title shot as the culmination of years of hard work and belief.

“This is something I’ve visualized since my debut,” Jarvis said. “It was just a matter of time and opportunity.”

Though he acknowledges Eersel’s dominance and experience, Jarvis is confident it’s his moment. While still developing as a fighter, he believes he brings a complete Muay Thai game that Eersel hasn’t encountered.

Jarvis, who respects the champion’s legacy and expects a respectful build-up, noted the contrast in styles and hinted at a strategic approach: “Why stand and trade with someone who’s mastered that? I’ve got the tools to mix it up.”

Drawing inspiration from fellow Brit Jonathan Haggerty, Jarvis is determined to make his mark and believes the fight will showcase everything he’s worked toward.
