Manny Pacquiao Enters Boxing Hall of Fame, Eyes Return to the Ring

Manny Pacquiao has officially been inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy among the sport’s greatest. The 46-year-old joins fellow Filipino icons Pancho Villa, Flash Elorde, and Lope Sarreal in boxing’s most prestigious club.

From selling doughnuts barefoot in General Santos to winning titles across eight weight divisions, Pacquiao’s journey is one of grit, faith, and purpose. In his speech, he thanked his family, fans, and country, saying, “This is about every Filipino who believed in me.”

Despite his Hall of Fame honor, Pacquiao isn’t done yet. He’s set to return to the ring on July 16 to face WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Whether it adds another title or marks the end, Pacquiao believes his story is far from over: “The best is still to come.”
