Jobe Bellingham expressed pride after scoring his first goal for Borussia Dortmund in their 4-3 Club World Cup win over Mamelodi Sundowns. The 19-year-old midfielder marked his first start since joining from Sunderland with a well-timed strike he revealed was the result of years of training.
Speaking to Dazn, Bellingham said he regularly practised arriving late in the box and was pleased to see it pay off. While happy with the goal, he noted there’s still plenty for him and the team to improve on.
