Manchester United have reached a total agreement on personal terms with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The 22-year-old Slovenia international has reportedly agreed to a contract until June 2030, with the player solely focused on sealing a move to Old Trafford this summer. Romano stated that Sesko has not entertained similar offers from other clubs, despite interest from Newcastle United, who were willing to offer more money and Champions League football.
United have already submitted a £74 million bid to Leipzig — made up of £65m upfront and £9m in performance-related add-ons — but are still awaiting a formal response from the Bundesliga side.
Sesko has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards, scoring 39 goals in 87 appearances for Leipzig over two seasons. His pace, power, and finishing ability have made him a priority target for United as they look to reinforce their attack.
The Red Devils have already made moves this summer, adding Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to their senior squad, along with promising left-back Diego Leon. But landing Sesko — seen as a long-term No. 9 — would be a statement of intent from Rúben Amorim’s side.
With personal terms agreed, the focus now shifts to United and Leipzig finalising a deal.
