Paris Saint-Germain ended their Ligue 1 season on a disappointing note, falling 2-1 to Paris FC despite having already sealed their fifth consecutive French title. The defeat came just days before their Champions League final against Arsenal, adding concern after Ousmane Dembélé picked up an injury scare.

PSG had been presented with the Ligue 1 trophy before kick-off, with coach Luis Enrique fielding a strong side in preparation for the European final. Bradley Barcola gave PSG the lead early in the second half, but Paris FC responded strongly, with Alimami Gory scoring twice — including a stoppage-time winner to complete a memorable comeback.
Luis Enrique suggested fatigue may have played a role in Dembélé’s early withdrawal, but insisted the team now has time to prepare for their biggest match of the season.
Elsewhere in Ligue 1, Lille secured third place and a return to the Champions League despite a 2-0 home defeat to Auxerre, as results elsewhere ensured they held onto the final automatic qualification spot.
Lens finished as runners-up and will join PSG and Lille in next season’s Champions League, while Marseille clinched Europa League qualification after a strong win over Rennes. Lyon must now navigate qualifying rounds, while Rennes and Monaco await confirmation of their European fate depending on the French Cup outcome.
