Youri Tielemans admitted Manchester United were frustrated and disappointed after their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City, insisting the Reds must quickly bounce back.
Erling Haaland’s controversial goal, awarded after a lengthy VAR review, proved decisive at Old Trafford. But Tielemans admitted United were also guilty of poor passing, rushing their attacks and failing to find the right final ball.
“We know we can play so much better,” Tielemans said, calling on the team to learn from the defeat and react immediately.
United now have a chance to respond against Brighton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, before facing Fulham in the Premier League ahead of the international break.
